The colors and textures of this teapot are the result of three days of firing in an outdoor wood ‘anagama’ kiln, as ash from the wood melted and fused with the clay, creating a natural glaze-like finish and melting specks of locally harvested clay. Because of the nature of the woodfire process, each item is unique and will have subtle variations in size, markings and finish.

This teapot measures appx 5” x 8 and holds around 4 cups of tea. Made with nontoxic clay and glaze, microwave and dishwasher safe.
